Gutter Cleaning to prevent water in the basement

Initially I walked around the house to check for reasons there was intrusion into the basement. There are some cracks in the foundation and the gutters were clogged on the West side of the house. In addition the gutter downspout was not being redirected at the bottom so I corrected it by reattaching it. The debris was removed by hand and put in a bucket and removed. Anything that dropped was picked up or swept up. Additional suggestions slope the dirt away from the foundation, put a longer extension on the West side gutters
